Thu 8/6 Venus → Libra

Enters Scorpio September 10th

When Venus enters home sign Libra, there's a lift in our connections, our vibe, our ideals...and we seem to lean into what draws us with a little more ease. This is where Venus comes into both intellect and style, and so we get chatty with each other. We want to learn about each other. We want to do fun things with each other. And we really don't want to waste our time with boredom and anything dull.

Keep an eye on: Selling parts of yourself short in hopes of approval or connection from someone else.

Embrace: love what you love, be honest about your preferences, appreciate others for theirs.

Sun 8/9 Mercury → Leo

Enters Virgo August 25th

This month we have Mercury entering into Leo and turning up the volume on big, bold, beautiful truths right from the heart. This can be a huge time for realizing even more about who your true people are. Because part of being our full selves means not being everyone's cup of tea, neighbor.

Keep an eye on: Conversations that happen or statements and proclamations that can land wrong, hit wrong, hit hard, hit big, or make big waves (not necessarily a bad thing, just keep an eye out for it).

Embrace: Cheering each other on, unapologetically loving each other, lifting our friends up, and and being loyal while still being a leader.

Tue 8/11 Mars → Cancer

Enters Leo September 27th

When Mars goes from Gemini to Cancer, our motives tend to shift from being driven by curiosity to being driven by feeling and meaning. We are reminded of how much our needs being met fuels our capacity levels.

Keep an eye on: Emotional reactivity/overwhelm, and mood swings heavily impacting our energy levels.

Embrace: Intuitive action, cozy/wholesome activities that nurture home or family, and showing your love.

Embrace: Creative introspection and creative expression, your favorite parts of being you.

In traditional astrology, Virgo can be tied to like virgin energy and purity energy, but let's modernize that and instead replace it with efficiency productivity. I'm not talking about like Bro Boss productivity culture type efficiency. I'm talking about true, real, organic, self-sustaining ecosystems. That's Virgo.

Keep an eye on: Hyperfixating on little or insignificant issues, analysis paralysis, and standards of unattainable perfection.

Embrace: Your innate ability to be a part of an ecosystem, clearing out the excessive and the unnecessary, SIMPLE and practical routines and rituals.

Tue 8/25 Mercury → Virgo

Enters Libra September 10th

When the sun is in Virgo and then Mercury also enters its home sign of Virgo, we can definitely see another emphasis and an uptick in that Virgo efficiency and sense of refinement. What's kind of a waste? What's bringing down the system? What can we just be honest about and get rid of? How can we upcycle, change, reconstruct so something can be more useful or used in a different way?

Keep an eye on: Overthinking!! Unsolicited advice, and fixing what isn't broken.

Embrace: Your problem-solving skills you don't give yourself enough credit for, the free will and resourcefulness that can reshape your environment.

Full Moon exact Fri 8/28/26 at 12:18am

Portal closes: Moon enters Aries on Sat 8/29/26 at 0:37pm ET

Pisces is all about meaning, and they can feel it a mile away. And they can therefore sense anything devoid of meaning and the magick. This eclipse takes place on the same day as the Mercury Cazimi in Virgo, and there is a STRONG ass message of, "Fuck it, this matters to me and I'm all in."

Keep an eye on: Bailing on reality to a level that harms yourself or others, and chronic victim narrative.

Embrace: Your whimsy, your tarot cards, your imagination, your crystals, your energy work, your psychic abilities—can your inner child inspire you to connect with your powers?

Big shifts this month. Lots of electric energy. Plenty of disruption along the way.

Part of the reason I love going over the astrology together is that even for myself, I'll find myself moving through the month, hitting a snag or a full on wall, and then I'll be like, remember we talked about on Moonday?

Remember, we're in this together. And this disruption is not without purpose. And boy oh boy, are there some serious things in this world that need some fucking disruption right now...
