Intuition Strength Training
That’s right— this isn’t a one-and-done gig, folx. Astro Channeling takes real life practice…more than once lol. So this week we are all going to tap into an upcoming transit, and see what cosmic messages come through for each of us.
This is why so often we hear astrology referred to as a language of the celestials, because we're not walking textbooks–we don't look at a chart and drum up every paragraph we've ever read on each of the planets, signs, houses, etc. No, what happens is you become more and more fluent in this language, and you are then able to translate a story based on the chart.
The real magic happens when you realize through your astrological studies that each chart shows you the part of its story it wants you to see at that time. Even your own chart can withhold little nuggets of truth and insight for you until the time is right. You can study a chart for years and it can still continue to surprise you over time.
This is why astro channeling is so effective, and best learned as early on as possible. It is an exercise that will help to bring connection to all the various parts and pieces of the chart and reveal concrete insight you can actually work with.
Objectives:
Bring intuition to the intellectual practice of astrology.
Build trust in your astrological knowledge, as well as your own intuitive messages.
Facilitate and nurture your connection to the celestials.
You Will Need:
Your favorite website or app for looking up transits or the current astrological chart. I have lots of recommendations over in our Neighborhood Library if you're shopping for apps.
A way of taking any notes for yourself -OR- voice/video record your session (highly recommend if doing this by yourself, for yourself)
A space and/or a person you feel comfortable talking out loud.
Trust in yourself, your studies, the cosmos, and the bridge between them all: your intuition.

The Exercise: Messages from the Upcoming Eclipse
For this Intuition Strength Training session, I'll be providing everyone with the same transit. For one thing, I think it'll be really cool to see what messages come through for everyone (so make sure you leave a comment below!), plus it can be super helpful to have a specific area of the chart to look at. It can really help to decrease the visual overwhelm!
NOTE: This is a practice exercise. It is not intended to be used to give a professional astrological reading for a paying client. Astro channeling can and often does take place during a professional reading, but we would need a lot more preparation, boundaries, and a general blueprint for that kind of session here in these instructions. So unless that is something you're already experienced in, I recommend just using this for practice for self, friends, and family!
Scorpio Full Moon Eclipse

*Regardless of where you live in the world, the planets or celestial bodies are in the same degree of a zodiac sign. Their orbits and positions are what they are, and our geolocation doesn't affect that. What does change, however, are the house placements. The astrological houses are calculated based on our location and time zone.
So this chart above, for Denver, CO Mountain Time, will show you the eclipse at its exact position: the Sun at 14° Taurus & the Moon at 14° Scorpio. In Denver this eclipse takes place in the 10th & 4th Houses. In your location it may be in completely different houses. You can use the chart for your location and time zone, or you can go off of the chart I've provided here for Denver. You don't even have to incorporate the meanings of the houses in your interpretation! But I always like to explain this when having people people from all over look up the same astrological transit.
Follow the same basic instructions we laid out the in our previous Astro Channeling Exercise, and use the Full Moon Eclipse in Scorpio to channel a message from the cosmos.
Remember, There is no specific outcome that we're "supposed" to reach with this exercise. Utilize this practice as a way of strengthening your connection to the celestials and their cosmic language.
If you did this exercise for yourself, save your notes and/or recording so you can revisit it at a later date. This helps alleviate any pressure to "have it all figured out" during or immediately post-reading. Remember, some messages are going to be delivered, but their meaning isn't meant to come through yet. Trust, trust, trust, trust, trust. It's all part of the process.
